We Are Available
We work full time and have busy lives. We are not rich and don't always have extra time. But we make time. Glory to God for convicting us and calling on us to do your work. When He called, we answered. We made it a priority in our lives to remind the less fortunate that Jesus never forgets them. We remind them to keep believing, hoping and having faith in a better day.
We Move with Faith
"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food... what good is it if you do nothing about their physical needs?" James 2:15-16
"I used to complain about my shoes, until I met a man with no feet."
It's bad enough, when you don't help but you could. It's even worse when you justify it. I often hear people talk about the homeless and say, "they could work", "they are on drugs", "they are prostitutes", "they could help themselves if they tried". The harsh reality is all those things could be true. The difference comes when we don't judge and help them if we can. They are hungry and suffering and they need our help.
